Houston broil still browns while bake stays pale

Two modes, and only one of them works

You can toast the top of a pan under broil. You switch to bake, give it a generous wait, and the center of the dish is still pale, the cavity barely warmer than the kitchen. That split is easy to mash into "oven not heating." It is more specific than that, and the extra specificity is what a stranger on the phone can use. Humid Gulf air in November can make a kitchen feel close, which tempts people to blame the weather for a mode that quit. Damp air does not explain why one function browns and the other does not. The older note on this domain already followed a musty washer in a shut closet. This one stays at the range.

Downtown Houston and the east side are not the same afternoon, and Galena Park is a different city again. Say which kitchen failed.

Watch one broil and one bake, then quit experimenting

Run broil only long enough to see whether the top element colors a slice of bread or the surface of a leftover. Shut it down. Set bake, stay nearby, and judge the cavity air once. Do not alternate the two modes for an hour "to be sure," and do not launch a clean cycle as a reset. Leave the range in place. A model plate you can read with the door open is fair to copy down. A plate on the back wall of the cabinet can wait.

If the bake display climbs while the food stays raw, say the digits moved and the dish did not. If broil never glowed either, you are telling a different story and should not use this one. Gas odor that remains after the knobs are off goes to the utility. A hot plug or a scorched cord goes to the breaker you already know how to open. Neither detour is a tour of the chassis.

Three businesses, and the ship-channel city is its own call

2nd Chance Furniture & Appliances, LLC is the downtown Houston card. Capitol Street, suite t-301, number 800, ZIP 77002. The handset is +1 281-670-7141. Furniture and appliances both sit in the name. Ask whether a bake mode that stays pale, with broil still browning, is work they take at that suite. Do not assume the furniture half answers for the range.

Acerra Technologies Inc is the other Houston card. North Bryan Street, number 545, ZIP 77011. The handset is +1 281-670-7154. Technology is what the name states. A pale bake does not rewrite it. Ask, and accept a no.

Mandela Air Conditioning Services is in Galena Park, not in Houston. Galena Manor, number 102, ZIP 77547. The handset is +1 281-680-1261. Air conditioning is the trade the name announces. A range question there is still a question. Agreement on Capitol Street does not travel to Bryan Street, and neither Houston yes covers Galena Manor.

Say the split in one breath

City, then the contrast: broil browns, bake stays pale, and how long you waited on bake. Mention humidity only if the room was actually sticky, and keep it to a clause. Ask whether that contrast is accepted at the address you named. If the answer is furniture only, software only, or cooling only, thank them and dial a different card. Do not blend the three names into one request.

Skip buying a bake element from a thumbnail. Skip a second broil "to burn the problem off."

Boundaries for a humid November

No price is guessed. No schedule is copied from a listing. No review is pasted. No van is described as already moving toward Capitol, Bryan, or Galena Manor. No line claims every name here repairs ovens. Cooks search oven trouble harder in November, including the weeks before Thanksgiving on November 26. That pattern came from a Northern Virginia advertising sample, not from these three phones.
